Day 1: 9am-5pm (student must show up prior to class start) Day 2: 9am-5pm (student must show up prior to class start) FINGER PRINTS: Frederick MVA, Sheriff's office, or google "Live Scan" vendors in your area to have fingerprints taken. MD’s Wear and Carry requires a total of 16 hours of training. You must be taught by a MD QHI, that needs to include instruction on state firearm laws, firearm safety in the home, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a firing component that requires the applicant to demonstrate firearm safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.
