In this course you will learn the continuation of carbine fundamentals, the reiteration of proper hand coordination and placement, considerations of proper gear placement, necessary magazine changes, moving while shooting, adaptable shooting positions, and support-side transition techniques.
You will learn the basics of mindset, conditions of alertness, and the understanding of de-escalation of force that pertains to the use of a firearm in self-defense.
This is a physically demanding class: students should be in good physical condition, familiar with their equipment, and have solid basic to intermediate gun-handling skills established prior to attending.

Age: 18+ years old
Citizenship: Participants must be US Citizens or Immigrant Green card holders. No Exceptions. Each participant must bring government issued ID and/or their Immigrant Green Card to class with them.
Language: Participants must be able to speak and understand English fluently and without the assistance of a translator.
Clothing: Closed toed shoes required

Must have taken Beginning Carbine and/or possess the equivalent skill set. Instructor approval only.

Review and practice of proper fundamentals
Review of low ready positions and the difference of high ready
Distinct types of reloads and when applicable
Weapon set-up and gear selection
Aggressive gun handling skills
Use of cover, concealment, and movement and how to use them
Basic principles of maneuvering within a structure
Dynamic action and tactical deployment
Malfunctions and Resolutions
Equipment Requirements:
Valid ID and/or Immigrant Green Card (if applicable)
Quality AR-15 rifle in good working condition (with iron sights/optic) and a mounted, two-point sling
Minimum of 400 rounds of brass-cased, copper-jacketed ammunition (No Steel ammunition)
Minimum of three 30-round magazines and two magazine pouches
Eye and ear protection
Cleaning/repair kit and lubrication
