Students who enroll in this course must be able to load and unload their firearms to make them safe, clear malfunctions, and understand the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, all of which are covered in our Basic Pistol 1 & 2 classes.
This is a higher round count and expectation course. At minimum three magazines are recommended, or more if shooting a pistol with a smaller capacity. Students should bring all ancillary equipment to aid in their success (sight adjustment tool, spare batteries, magazines already loaded, etc).
It is expected that you arrive at class with a zeroed optic or will be able to do this in 5 minutes. If you are brand new to using a red dot, we recommend our Intro to Red Dot Course. This class is centered around shooting, not zeroing.
Upon completion of Red Dot 2 course, a certificate of completion is given with 10% off Defensive pistol course.
This course is also recommended as an intermediary between Basic Pistol 2 and Defensive Pistol.
