Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation and hosted by us! The biggest challenge for new shooters is getting started. First Shots makes getting started easy by teaching students the basics in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. This class is a great way to begin learning about the shooting sports!
Class length: 2.5 to 3 hours
Max number of students: 14
Students will shoot ten rounds from one of our .22lr caliber pistols (accompanied by an instructor) on our range in this class.
First Shots covers:
• Introduction to the safe use of firearms
• Understanding of the shooting facility
• Introduction to shooting sports opportunities for all levels of interest
• A chance to take your first shots in our state of the art live fire range with .22 caliber
• Information on how to continue training
Our friendly instructors are highly knowledgable with multiple national-level certifications, and we love helping new shooters learn!
Minors MUST be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Targets, shooting glasses, ear protection, and ammunition will be provided as part of this course. Students will use our .22 caliber pistols; if you bring your own firearm, you will not be allowed to shoot it as part of this course.
