This course is for students that have become comfortable with their firearm and want to take the next steps necessary for being able to safely carry a gun on-body. In this course, our knowledgeable and experienced instructors will cover how to:
This course is designed for those who are comfortable with basic manipulations of their firearms (loading, unloading, clearing malfunctions) and can consistently keep their rounds on an 8-inch target at 5 yards. This class has equipment requirements. Students must have proper holsters and belts in order to take this class; please read requirements in the class details or email [email protected] for information.
What to Bring:
The firearm you carry
A Inside or Outside the waistband holster for appendix, 3 or 4 o'clock. The holster must stay open when the gun is not in the holster, kydex or high quality leather, no nylon soft holsters. Holsters must be approved by the instructor at the beginning of class. Serpa holsters or holsters that use the trigger finger to deactivate a retention device are NOT allowed.
At least 3 magazines (more if it is a low capacity gun)
Magazine carriers
Belt to support holster and magazine carrier
200 rounds of quality ammunition
Eye and ear protection (electronic is preferred)
Notepad and pen
Water and snacks for the break

Defensive Pistol (Evening)
This course will cover how to safely and efficiently draw your firearm, engage targets accurately at speed, and the basics of shooting on the move. It designed for those who are comfortable with basic manipulations of their firearms (loading, unloading, clearing malfunctions) and can consistently keep their rounds on an 8-inch target at 5 yards. If you are unsure if this is the class for you, please reach out to our instructors to arrange a free diagnostic lesson. What to bring: An Inside or Outside the waistband holster for appendix or hip carry (no small of back carry or cross body) The holster must stay open when the gun is not in the holster, kydex or high quality leather, no nylon soft holsters. Holsters must be approved by the instructor at the beginning of class. NO serpa style holsters, or holsters that require trigger finger pressure to release gun are allowed.
